Along my journey, I knew my only chance of making a career as a professional would be “majoring in the minors”. I understood that my way of standing out on the field was doing the little things better than everyone else. I started to look at the defensive line position as an art and I was the artist, crafting my masterpiece. I’d spend countless hours working on hand placement, eye discipline, block release techniques, ect. Now that I’ve retired, I want to teach those same mechanics and techniques to young athletes looking for an advantage on the field.
